Statement from Director Robinson:

Minority and women entrepreneurs are a growing stronghold of Alabama's economy. The Alabama Office of Minority Affairs (AOMA) is proud to oversee the Minority and Women's Business Initiative to ensure that minority and women business owners have a direct line of communication for assistance in doing business with the State of Alabama. Working with our partners at the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Development and the AL Dept. of Finance, Commerce, and Transportation, we are committed to creating new avenues to economic success.

Our mission is to amplify the voices of Alabama's minority and women business community, address their needs, and promote sustainable growth. Under my leadership, AOMA will be a trusted partner, bridging the gap between state agencies and minority business leaders. Nurturing the entrepreneurial drive of our minority and women business communities adds to Alabama's vibrant and diverse economic engine.
