Her upbringing in Montgomery, AL drives her passion for civil rights advocacy, education, community outreach & development, and the criminal justice system. In her current role, she excels in organizational development, community engagement & outreach, and program oversight. Trinity holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Colorado Technical University. Beyond her professional achievements, Trinity is a dedicated wife and mother to three wonderful boys. Her commitment to her family and community drives her mission to create lasting, positive impact through innovative solutions and strategic initiatives.
Natasha Nettles
Governmental Relations & Executive Assistant
Natasha Nettles is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in Alabama’s political landscape. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Political Science from Auburn University Montgomery. Natasha’s career began with internships and fellowships at the state’s Capitol Complex, followed by roles such as Programs Director at the Alabama Coalition on Black Civic Participation.
For 16 years, Natasha served as Executive Assistant to the Speaker Pro Tempore in the Alabama House of Representatives, managing legislative operations and promoting diversity. She now brings her expertise to the Alabama Office of Minority Affairs. Outside of work, Natasha enjoys family life with her husband, Theadgus, and their daughter, Kinsley.
Christina V. Thomas
Operations & Program Development Manager
Christina, a native of Montgomery, AL, is a dedicated professional passionate about community engagement and advocacy. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Auburn University at Montgomery and serves as the Operations Manager at the Alabama Office of Minority Affairs, advancing minority interests and fostering inclusive growth.
As the Projects and Initiatives Chair for the City of Montgomery Mayor’s Young Professional Council, Christina leads impactful community projects. She is also earning her Certified Public Manager (CPM) certification and is an active member of Junior League Montgomery.
Ebonee Horn
Workforce Development & Educational Partnerships Program Manager
Ebonee is passionate about advocacy and empowering individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, inspired by her own transformative experiences. With a background in education and workforce development, she has made significant contributions at Gadsden Job Corps in roles such as residential living, career counseling, and technical training. Ebonee has also led Career Development efforts for Historically Black Colleges, including her alma mater, Miles College.
As a first-generation college graduate, Ebonee understands the challenges faced by individuals transitioning into higher education and the workforce. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Miles College, a Master of Career Technical Education from Athens State University, and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Higher Education Leadership at Maryville University.
